When your relationship feels close to breaking point, there may still be a way forward.

If you are here, your relationship may be going through a very difficult time — feeling stuck in painful patterns, having the same arguments, or struggling to understand how things reached this point.

I specialise in working with couples experiencing serious relationship distress, where things may feel fragile, painful, or uncertain.

We look carefully at what is happening between you and whether repair may still be possible.

The first step is simply to explore whether this programme may be appropriate for your situation.

Questions you may have

What is The Couples Reset Programme?

The Couples Reset Programme, also referred to as Couples Reset, is a focused programme for couples whose relationship feels close to breakdown. Sessions take place live online, with both partners taking part together.

It helps both partners understand what is going wrong, interrupt destructive patterns, and make a genuine attempt at repair.

It is intended for couples who are still willing to engage in the process together.

Is this general couples therapy?

Not in the usual open-ended sense. The Couples Reset Programme is designed as a short-term, structured process rather than ongoing weekly sessions. It is for couples whose relationship feels in serious difficulty and may be close to breakdown.

What is the Initial Enquiry and Suitability Form, and why do we need to complete it?

The Initial Enquiry and Suitability Form is the first step in the enquiry process. Each partner completes the form separately so I can understand both perspectives and consider whether this programme can be offered safely and appropriately.

It is not a counselling session, diagnosis, or emergency support. It helps me consider whether this is the right time for this focused work before moving forward.

If, after reviewing a completed form from each partner, the programme appears suitable and can be offered safely, I will send you a confirmation email with the next steps and payment instructions.

What happens after we complete the Initial Enquiry and Suitability Form?

Once both forms have been received, I will review the information to consider whether the programme can be offered safely and appropriately at this time.

If the programme appears suitable, I will contact you with confirmation and payment instructions. Once payment has been received, I will contact you to arrange your 2-hour live online Intensive Session. Once the session has been arranged, I will send the relevant preparation materials and a link to complete the Intake Form before your first session.

The programme then continues with the two 60-minute live online follow-up sessions included in the programme.

What is included in the programme?

The programme includes:

  • one 2-hour live online Intensive Session
  • two 60-minute live online follow-up sessions
  • preparation materials
  • structured tasks to complete between sessions

The programme does not include ongoing message support, crisis support, reports for court or legal proceedings, or open-ended access between sessions.

When is this programme not suitable?

This programme may not be suitable if:

  • either partner is not willing to engage in exploring whether repair may still be possible
  • either partner cannot participate freely or safely
  • either partner is currently involved in a romantic, sexual, or emotionally intimate relationship with another person outside the couple relationship
  • there is coercion, intimidation, threat, abuse, fear, or a safeguarding concern
  • there is a current emergency, acute crisis, unmanaged risk, or a need for urgent support
  • the level of conflict or instability makes this format inappropriate
  • a different form of support, including individual, specialist, medical, crisis, or emergency support, would be more appropriate.

If you would like me to consider whether this programme may be suitable for your situation, please complete the Initial Enquiry and Suitability Form.
